Electronic documents repository CONTMAN Archive can be supplied with information and documents from any source. CONTMAN Monitor module is a key tool that supports processes of intelligent classification, replaces the manual archiving of electronic documents providing flexible mechanism for placing documents in archive.

CONTMAN Monitor ensures automation of archiving process for all kind of electronic documents (Office files, text files, PDF documents, emails, fax documents, CAD drawings, etc.) by enabling their proper description by the set of indexes, which later on enable easy localization of documents in the system.

CONTMAN Monitor can be run on personal computers of users and on servers, both in application mode as well as background service mode. The application monitors defined working directories and fetches from them files that are later described (indexed) and stored in electronic repository CONTMAN Archive. The monitoring enables full automation of archiving processes for any files.

CONTMAN Monitor ensures storing in archive documents with their descriptions (indexes), which may be created based on the relevant filename or directory name contents. The program can fetch documents from particular location on a local hard drive or server hard drive, describe them and sent to archive without the need for human intervention.

CONTMAN Monitor enables direct archiving of the files by using desktop integration and context menus of Windows OS. This enables archiving files even if CONTMAN Monitor has not been started (so called “archiving on demand”).

The software can be also used for:

• serving the documents scanned by scanners or multi-function networking devices
