CONTMAN Mobile · Mobile app

A phone
instead of a scanner.

A phone app for the office and the warehouse: instead of carrying paper to the scanner, you photograph it and the document goes straight to the archive, to the right place. Coming next: search, document viewing, a task inbox and signing.

QR code

The code leads
to the document.

For a document that has no file yet, the archive shows a QR code. Scan it with your phone, and the app tells you which document it is before you take the first photo.

  • The computer shows the file by itself when it arrives from the phone
  • The file from the phone becomes the document's first version
  • Photos are added by people allowed to add files

Photos

A photo that
looks like a scan.

The app finds the edges of the page, straightens the perspective and whitens the background by itself. Add pages one after another, and the whole document reaches the archive as a single PDF.

  • Reorder, rotate, crop or remove pages before sending
  • No retyping from paper
  • The archive recognises the text of photos, as with scans

No signal

No signal,
nothing lost.

Uploads wait in a queue on the phone, and no network, a closed app or a restart loses no photos. The status Sent appears only once the archive confirms receipt.

  • The queue moves on its own when the connection returns
  • Whatever did not arrive is shown and can be sent again
  • Sign-in data kept in the phone's secure storage

In your phone's browser

Tasks and documents,
on a small screen too.

The browser application is designed for phone screens too, with its own top bar. The workflow task inbox works in the phone's browser, so you can check it on the go.

  • The same account and the same permissions

Questions and answers

Does a phone photo look like a scan?
Yes. The app finds the edges of the page, straightens the perspective and whitens the background by itself, and the pages reach the archive as a single PDF.
What happens when there is no signal?
Uploads wait in a queue on the phone and start by themselves when the connection returns. The status Sent appears only once the archive confirms receipt.
How does the app know which document the photos belong to?
For a document that has no file yet, the archive shows a QR code. Once you scan it, the app tells you which document it is, and the file from the phone becomes its first version.
Which account do I sign in with?
The same account as in the browser, within the same permissions. Photos are added by someone who may add files.
